Prof. Dr Përparim Alikaj Expert on Raw Materials

Prof. Përparim Alikaj, Ph.D., is a highly experienced university professor specializing in geophysical methods and a renowned exploration geophysicist both in Albania and internationally. He has served as the Head of the Geophysics Group at the Faculty of Geology and Mining, Polytechnic University of Tirana for many years. Additionally, he has held the position of Chief Scientist at Quantec Geoscience Ltd., an international geophysical company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
His innovative, trademarked technology, known as Induced Polarization and Resistivity “Real Section,” has been effectively utilized in over 200 prospecting and exploration projects worldwide. This technology has contributed to the discovery of numerous mineral ore deposits, most notably the San Nicolas giant massive polymetallic ore deposit in Zacatecas, Mexico, which has over 100 million tons of reserves.
Throughout his career, Professor Alikaj has actively promoted Albanian minerals to foreign mining investors, including Tirex Resources, Cougar Mining, European Minerals Ltd, Nebex Resources, and Royal Roads, all based in Canada and the UK. He is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, and the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) in Bunnik, Ultrecht, The Neatherlands.
