Dr. Ledi Moisiu, Director of the EIT RawMaterials Regional Innovation Center Albania, welcomed the official launch of the EIT Community Hub Albania.
This hub will connect Albanian innovators and entrepreneurs to Europe’s largest innovation ecosystem, unlocking opportunities for growth and collaboration! The first part of the event had the presence of high-level officials, including the EU Delegation Head of Cooperation Mr. Hubert Perr, EIT Director Mr. Martin Kern, Head of German Development Cooperation Dr. Iven Schad, and GIZ Albania Country Director Dr. Sonja Kurz, highlighted the hub’s pivotal role in connecting Albania with Europe’s thriving innovation ecosystem.

Dr. Moisiu was delighted to share her insights on two engaging panels—one exploring the vital role of EIT and the other showcasing the Center’s impactful contributions to EIT RawMaterials.
This event brought together stakeholders from EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) and Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) Hubs from Albania, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Montenegro, alongside the EIT National Contact Points.
The EIT RawMaterials Regional Innovation Center Albania will join forces and collaborate with the new hub to enhance innovation opportunities and drive development in the sector!
